I also agree with Besix and Slitch, a clean start would be nice after the changes they made to the game (like anti-wallriding and some changes in cars). With the anti-cheat/hack software and possibly the car-tuning feature coming soon, I think it's a great time to start over and delete the old times, including here on the NFSunlimited board.
Sure, it sucks losing all the great lap times people already set (in my case, maybe just 4 or 5 :D ), but I actually like the challenge of doing it again and maybe improving them.
I actually hope BB takes this chance to enhance the Leaderboards by adding extra data, like powerup usage, top speed, etc. It would give so much more details on how a fast lap was set.
I'd also like to make a little suggestion, I would really like to see a feature to filter the tracks by car? I believe the Carbon leaderboards had that feature also.

I'll listen to the podcast and ask around, if there's significant changes to the physics model in World, then I agree, the new times are not compatible with the old times.I had the car filter planned as an extension to the tier filter for a while now. Will try to implement it soon.

I vote for keeping the times already stored on the database here regardless of whether EA resets. There hasn't and won't be a significant change to the physics.
Most (if not all) of the top times set before the wallriding was patched out have been beaten since anyway. If the ones who got good times by wallriding can't now then that's just too bad.
The better drivers will always come out on top anyway. A lot of people have put a lot of effort into getting their best times (without wallriding or hacking). Getting rid of them on the say so of a 'few' is not exactly fair to the 'many' members of this site.
It's also easy enough to keep filtering out the obvious hacked times as before.

I agree with Slitch. Let's start with a clean slate.

I am thinking, that IF the new customizationsystem is going to be as effective as promised, the leaderboard should be reset here too...I am quite sure that the EA-reset is tied heavily to this new system...
