There's a new contest going on in Need For Speed: World, and it is open to any player in the world. Week of Games started on Monday 26th and continues throughout this week. The rules are simple: each day EA will choose a sprint or circuit event on a designated track, and all you have to do is complete that event in a multiplayer race within the 24 hours to be eligible. Everyone that completes the event will be entered into a random draw to win one of 10 daily Amazon Gold Starter Packs. However, there's a little catch: to participate in the race you must be driving a car from a certain brand.
Today's event (29th March) takes place in Chinatown Delivery, and any Lotus car is eligible. The race begins 01:00 GMT Friday 30th, and finishes at 01:00 GMT Saturday 31st. To celebrate, the Lotus Exige Cup 260 is now back from retirement for a limited amount of time, and there's a 30% discount over the normal price.
The winners will be announced on 4th April. Please note that it doesn't matter in which place you finish the race, or how fast you go. All you need to do is finish the chosen race with a car from the chosen brand within the 24 hours to be eligible for a random draw.
UPDATE: The initial event posted by EA on their website and Facebook page was "Main Street", but this event requires a Tier 1 car, and there are no Tier 1 Lotus. So, the event has been changed to "Chinatown Delivery", as is now in the news.
