Phoenix Racing Team

Goals:-

Phoenix Racing Team exists in order to create an atmosphere of friendship and co-operation, to improve game enjoyment for all members, and to provide an element of competition that will assist all members, who choose to do so, to become skilled racers. We do not have a defined leader, and all members are equal in that all issues will be decided through a majority vote. In essence, each member is a part owner of the Team. Ownership implies responsibility and this will be discussed below in the "Voting" section. This constitution and rules are subject to change at any time by the consent of a majority of active members.

Team Structure :-

All Team members are equal. No person is better than any other, though some will obviously be more skilled and knowledgeable than others. All members are entitled to be treated at all times with respect. Apart from restrictions that will be discussed in the "Voting" section below, each active member has the privilege to vote on issues and memberships, ensuring that no member has greater power than any other member, and no member is above the rules.

When the Team has been challenged by another crew, or if the Team issues a challenge to another crew, the racing participants will be selected on ability, skill, and availability. Generally speaking, skill will be determined by current rankings as recorded at nfsunlimited.net.

Applicants :-

Before a member can be accepted to the Team they must first undergo the application process. This demands that they correctly and completely fill out the application form as published elsewhere on the website. They must then race with at least 2 existing members. The existing members who conduct these races must then report back to the rest of the Team through comments made in a post that will be created within the Team area of the website. Videos of the races should be posted when possible. If the majority of active members then decide the application should proceed the applicant will then be subject to a 7 day probation period. At the end of this period a further vote will be taken to decide if that person should be promoted to full Team member status.

The application must be completed by the person applying to join the team, unless reasons of disability prevent this. You are required to make a statement on your application if you have not completed the form yourself.

Age requirement

All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. An exemption to this requirement exists for those who are already Team members before this amended constitution came into force.
