Need for Speed SHIFT
Car: 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR

Description: This is one of the biggest and one of my favourite projects I've done. Although it was quite painful to make the other side look the same. Inspiration came from one real car I saw in speedhunters.com about 6 months ago but this is not a replica of it. Cant find the pic of it anymore, sry.


The Car
This car took 237 layers and I think I spend over 12 hours with it. I really enjoyed making the side and I think it turned out pretty nice imo. I changed the fb and rb vinyls about 3 times while making the car, lol. I also made a speedhunters pattern on the trunk (hard to see in the pics) and hood is quite basic.
Those narrow lines on the side were sometimes quite tricky to do because the vinyl system wont let you do such narrow lines with 1 vinyl only. I also used different tones of blue to make the car look more interesting.


The Pres
The pres looks a bit same like on my earlier Evos. Im still not that good with photoshop so notice the pres only in artistic rating. Oh, and I hid my avatar again Its harder to find nao :p

Probably now this is the best work in shift showroom IMO i love that modern vinylwork! looks amazing cool colorcombo, decals placement is really perfect executed bk and rims are great choose i can't find anything wrong here...

well, must be fav!
